Overview:
This qualification is designed for learners employed in an adult care setting and who require formal training and a qualification in the safe handling and managing of medicines. It develops knowledge and understanding necessary to carry out this work related support role.
Structure:
To achieve the full BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Safe Use of Medicines (QCF), learners must achieve 13 credits. To do this, learners must gain all of the mandatory units in this qualification.
Progression:
It is anticipated that learners will progress to the Level 2 OR Level Diploma in Health and Social care.

Flexible study but could be completed within 4 days
