The Edexcel Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (QCF) is intended for those who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work environment (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment).

Structure:

This is a qualification of 9 credits consisting of the following mandatory units:

• Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
• Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding

Progression:

Once learners have achieved this Award they can progress to the following qualifications:

• Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
• Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
• Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice

Other information:

Candidates will need to:

• Have access to at least 2 QCF candidates at a level appropriate to their own competency to be able to assess them on a total of 3 units
• Be able show competency in their own field of work with a relevant qualification.

Duration:

Flexible study but could be completed within 5days.
