Course Overview
Course Aim:
The course focuses on identifying many different types and triggers of violent within the work setting and teaches coping mechanisms to deal with it.

- Triggers of violence which leads to challenging behaviours
- Understanding Individuals with learning disabilities and ASD
- Understanding/Working with Autistic individuals and learning disabilities
- Common triggers of violence
- Understanding the Assault Cycle
- Effective Communication Methods
- Breakaway Techniques
- Health and Safety
- Recording and Reporting
Course Duration:
Online: The timing and duration is flexible to your requirement.
In-house: This course is run over a period of 3 hours. Minimum of 8 delegates required.
