Course Content:
On successful completion of the training programme and assessment will enable candidate to understand:
- Discussion on Challenging Behaviour
- Definition of Anger, Aggression, Physical Assault etc
- Discussion on the specific client group and the triggers that surround them
- Run through the Assault Cycle
- Breakaway techniques
- Cover Criminal Law, Mental Health Act, Health and Safety Act etc
- Basic holding techniques
- Risks relating to the techniques
- Dementia and how it affects different
